WearHouse District's Wildhouse Fashion Benefit: Steven Forster's Big Easy


  The Wearhouse District, a style and fashion blog based in New Orleans celebrated as the creative mind of a designer on Saturday working on a fashion event 3 hours in the house foundation house of the blue. The show raised money for the Audubon Institute Audubon funds that support the daily operation of the facilities of the Institute.

Jordy Marilyn, a designer, performance artist and self-proclaimed "Kids Club", was the master of ceremonies for the night. The pop band from New Orleans, The Vettes, performed.

The event included three designers New Orleans, Erica Durousseau, Faye Caston and Michelle O'Regan, who ran against the clock for one-of-a-kind wildlife inspired to create records to the public. AF the Naysayer play the mood for the night to its electronic, down-tempo beats.

The three individual models were auctioned off and all proceeds will go to Audubon Fund. Michelle O'Regan won the design competition by. Extra money for the fund

"The Wearhouse District was formed as a way to comb the love, fashion and fun," said Dalton Primeaux, editor of the blog. "We have decided to choose the Audubon Fund for our first event, because we. Thus a great respect for what they have to do and we are all animal lovers"

"They gave us so many great memories, so many educated and cared for as many animals as I certainly wanted a way to give back to find.

"I have to show the wild-House event, another side of fashion," he said. "I wanted to prove that fashion be more about the art and self-expression and less judgmental or superficial, so that all profits to a charity that does so much good for our community, Audubon Fund. I also wanted to use this event to show the work that goes into the design and fashion design.

"Most people can not see the mode after it is completed, whether on the slopes or in the shows, and do not know how extremely difficult it is to create these pieces and the beauty of the design process."
