Hindmarch's astonishing presentation you
Bags: During Anya Hindmarch's Authentic Prada Bagsastonishing presentation you almost forgot the bags. But a little pale green clutch shaped like an apple caught my eye. Place your order now!Music: The DJ Martin Stacey did a brilliant mix for Mulberry which included Bowie
Quote of the day: 'Will there be food?" At least one member of the team asks this every 20 minutes. I carry mixed nuts and chocolate for them nowThe last day started with Mulberry's accomplished show played out to the tune of Always look on the bright side of life and ended after Fashion Fringe's showcase of new talent. Then it was home to pack for a 5am start heading to Milan Fashion Week. http://twitter.com/LorraineELLE and Instagram lorraineelle this week for more thoughts from the front row!
After the Mulberry show we got cake. Angel cake. Which I ate in the car reluctantly sharing with the team.Feeling proud of the best London Fashion Week ever. What an amazing end to such an inspiring British summer
We started day four with delicate mini Prada Nylon Cosmetic Bagscroissants and reviving coffee before Peter Pilotto's elegant, colourful show at 9am in the autumn sunshine. And ended it 12 hours later for me in the dusky twilight of Bedford Square with J.W. Anderson’s striking show. In between we saw Erdem's neon elegance and Burberry's celebrity filled front row with its cool, calm, collected runway of supermodels in brilliant coloured trenches.
It was a powerful day for London fashion, not least because Christopher Kane staged one of his most accomplished shows ever. Its stunning elegance gave us goose bumps. Extraordinary talent in action is a wonderful thing to see in the world of fashion. The calm before the storm. The Christopher Kanecatwalk high above London's Oxford Street. This was democracy in action as the longest front row ever snaked around this huge empty office space. Almost everyone sat on the front row. Which I think is a good thing. Before a show, the designer leaves the front row show notes describing what is to come on the catwalk. Last night we had this from J.W. Anderson whose show I loved. Especially Prada Wallets On Salethe boots
